Per Inlet Power Sensing (PIPS)
This Sentry PIPS Cabinet Distribution Unit (otherwise known as a PDU) combines all of the features of a Smart CDU with the ability to provide power monitoring per inlet/infeed. This information replaces branch circuit monitoring devices typically installed in the power distribution panel or remote power panel (RPP) with higher accuracy and lower cost monitoring of each circuit attached to the CDU. HTTP/HTTPs Web Configuration & Control
Use the Sentry Web interface to configure each unit, including network settings, outlet naming & grouping, SNMP alerts for environmental & power thresholds and firmware updates. Network managers can easily use SNMP requests to retrieve information and control power for individual outlets. Also use the Web interface to control individual or group outlets and monitor key values, including amperage load(s), temperature/humidity and other environmental conditions. Two (2) RJ-style connectors located on the face panel of the PDU's enclosure provide support for two (2) Integrated Temperature & Humidity Probes with ten-foot (10') cables provide real-time measurements in the data center cabinet.
An optional EMCU-1-1B Environmental Monitor allows up to (2) additional temperature & humidity probes (EMTH-1-1), (1) water sensor (EMWS-1-1), (4) dry contact closures, (1) analog-to-digital contact sensor. Includes (1) temperature/humidity probe with unit. Expansion Tower PDU
