Answer: Thank you for your inquiry. As long as the Dell PowerEdge R440 is 19" EIA compliant, which we believe it is, it should fit. The internal depth of the rack is 37.87 inches, so there should be plenty of room to accommodate the 26.5" depth of the 8-bay R440. All that being said, factors specific to any given environment may impact compatibility.
