The Avocent DPDU202-001 is a Direct_PDU power strip that is designed for small to medium businesses, and provides IT administrators with a simple and cost effective way to remotely manage the power requirements of their IT infrastructure. Direct_PDU power strips have an on-board web interface for direct access over any IP network. Other features include individual power "On/Off" control, power consumption metering, overload protection, and 0U and 1U mounting options. The power strip has built-in alarms to notify the administrator when user-defined thresholds are reached via SNMP traps and e-mail notification. The Direct_PDU power strip is available in 8 and 16 port vertical mount (0U), and 8 port horizontal mount (1U) units.

SNMP & E-mail notification- Supports simple network management protocol (SNMP) and provides MIBs (management information base) for network management systems. Sends e-mails and trap information when user defined power consumption thresholds are met
Utility software included- Monitoring multiple Direct_PDU power strips from a single interface
Power on sequence- Prevents current overload by turning on the power script outlets in sequence when connected to a power source
Built-in circuit breaker- Provides protection to the attached devices from power source overloads
10/100Base-T Ethernet port- Access from anywhere via an IP network
LED on each port for visual status- Visual confirmation that each port is powered on or off.
Horizontal (1U) and vertical (0U) mounting options- Fits any server room rack deployment option
