While it can operate as a stand-alone device, the EMS 300 can easily integrate into larger systems via SNMP, or building management systems through BACnet. Modbus protocols can serve as a network repeater to convey alarm status information to a centralized location. The convenient wireless design reduces installation and system expansion costs frequently associated with hard-wired sensors and systems, and allows users to complete installation without the aid of an electrician. The EMS 300’s wireless sensors can receive signals from products transmitting dry contact, analog (0-20mA, 0-5VDC, or 0-10VDC) signals. Commonly used sensors include, but are not limited to, temperature/humidity, temperature, door counters, thermistors, motion sensors, power monitors, and more.
