Answer: Thank you for your inquiry. The external cabinet (PN: GXT4-240VBATT http://www.server-rack-online.com/gxt4-240vbatt.html ) includes the batteries. According to Vertiv, the manufacturer of the UPS, the manufacturer and part numbers for the batteries are CSB Battery UPS12460F2 and/or HR1234WF2. These are 12V valve regulated, maintenance-free, sealed lead acid batteries.
