Question: Can this probe be used for flood detection? I.e will it report 100% humidity if immersed in water? And work after removed?
Answer: Thank you for your inquiry, The STI EMTH-1-1 Temp / Humidity probe does not support flood detection - it is unly able to measure 0% to 100% Relative Humidity in oxygen. Please see our Leak Detection page for leak detection solutions. If you just need Temperature, Humidity, and Leak Detection, I would recommed looking into the Falcon F200 on that page.
