Server Technology
ServerTech Sentry (4820-XL-4)
-
Two 60 to 100 Amp power input feeds support dual power supply networking equipment units
-
(4) 20 Amp power outlet circuits
-
25 Amp circuit breakers protect each power outlet circuit
-
Space-efficient 19" 2U rack-mounted unit eliminates the need for a separate power distribution panel
-
Typically used with data communications and telecom equipment units, including: routers, DSLAMs, ATM switches and DC-powered servers
-
Pull-to-break/Push-to-reset circuit breakers may be used as on-site on/off power switch
-
NEBS compliant
-
Sentry XL Models include Load Sense, On Sense & Temperature Sense, and a LAN Interface that supports SNMP traps
-
Always-on Architecture eliminates single points of failure
-
Optional feature: Fail-safe Redundant Power Feeds
Remote Power Management of the IPM-2 individual receptacles allows a network manager to power off, power on and reboot network devices from any location via secure web interface, SSH, or out of band (dial-up) session. Now the network operations center can eliminate dispatching a field service person for manual intervention. Using a Sentry IPM-2 they can quickly restart locked-up remote servers & internetworking devices to ensure that the network is fully operational around the clock.
