Ordering Information
• All orders received before 12 p.m. Mountain Time will be processed the same day, this does not guarantee the order will be shipped the same day.
• Orders received after 12 pm. Mountain Time will be processed the same day but probably will not be shipped until the next business day.
• Your credit card will be authorized at the time of order placement and will be charged as soon as your order has been processed.
• Complete shipping information is required for orders to be processed.
• A $5 handling fee will be including in the shipping charge for all orders of $30 or less.
• Orders are confirmed via e-mail.
Shipping Information
Shipping Carriers
Server Racks Online ships orders using various carriers. Carriers are selected based on region. Standard shipping applies to the 48 contiguous states. Additional charges apply for orders shipped to Hawaii or Alaska and may also apply for special shipping needs and/or expedited orders.
Shipping Address
When you provide a shipping address, please provide the valid physical address where the cabinet will be delivered. Also, please include a phone number where you can be reached during the day if there is a delivery problem.
Please note: Server Racks Online cannot ship orders to personal residences unless the residence is the same address as the credit card company has noted on file as the credit cards billing address.
Server Racks Online does not ship to hotels or freight forwarding companies.
Estimate of Shipping Charges
All shipping prices are our best estimates. If the actual shipping charge is significantly greater than the estimated shipping cost, we will increase the shipping charge and contact you before processing your order. If you do not respond, we can not process the order. In some cases we do not know the exact shipping charge amount until after the order has been processed, when this occurs the customer will be contacted for payment of the remaining shipping charges as the customer is responsible for all charges. Prices may vary based on delivery conditions and fuel surcharges. In addition, we cannot guarantee that all trucking companies will adhere to their quoted delivery schedules.
Available Delivery Options
• Dock to Dock: Choose “Dock to Dock” if there is a receiving area at the destination location with a “dock high” area that a freight truck can back up to and unload the server cabinet. After the driver unloads the server rack onto the dock area, you or your designated shipping staff must then move the rack to its final location.
• No Loading Dock: Select this method if there is not a “dock high” area at the delivery destination. In this case, the delivery truck will be equipped with a lift gate to lower your server rack to the ground. Once it is on the ground, it is then your responsibility to take it into your building. There is an extra charge for the “No Loading Dock” service.
• Inside Delivery: The truck driver will deliver the server rack to a place of your choice on the first floor. There is an extra charge for this service. If you would like inside delivery, please call 1-866-722-5776 for a quote.
Please note: All server racks are shipped via “Ground” delivery.
Other Shipping Policies
We ship all orders “FOB Origin” as well as “prepay freight and add.”
FOB Origin
“FOB Origin” means you own the merchandise while it is in transit. If there are any damage claims, you as the buyer, file against the trucking company and will receive compensation directly from the trucking company. This is our policy because we are not onsite at the time of delivery to personally inspect and accept the shipment. We encourage you to inspect the shipment thoroughly prior to accepting it. Please see the Damages section for more details.
Prepay Freight and Add
“Prepay Freight and Add” means we pay the freight charges and add them to the invoice.
Damages
All damage claims must be made when the product is delivered. It is your responsibility to check for damaged merchandise before the truck driver leaves. In the case of a damaged shipment, mark all shipping documents as “damaged in transit” and include a description of the damage. Notify the trucking company immediately and save the packaging until the claim is complete. A damage claim will be denied if the packaging is discarded and the damage is concealed. The trucking company is not liable for transit damage unless notified within 48 hours from receipt of merchandise. Call us at 1-866-722-5776 for carrier contact numbers or if you would like assistance in talking with a freight company. Pictures may be required to process the damage claim. Final settlement of the claim is between you and the freight company.
Sales Tax Information
Server Racks Online is based out of Colorado and must charge sales tax. Colorado residents are liable for the sales tax of the city in which they reside. The minimum tax rate charged in Colorado is 2.9% (state tax), other taxes may be applicable. Due to changing tax laws and liabilities, Server Racks Online now collects sales tax in most states - specifically the following: Alabama, Arizona, California, Connecticut, D.C., Florida, Georgia, Hawaii, Idaho, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Louisiana, Maryland, Massachusetts, Michigan, Minnesota, Mississippi, Nebraska, Nevada, New Jersey, New York, North Carolina, Ohio, Oklahoma, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, South Dakota, Tennessee, Texas, Utah, Virginia, Washington, Wisconsin, and Wyoming. In some instances, it may be necessary for appropriate taxes to be added after your order is placed. If this is the case, you will be contacted before the order is processed. We will not be able to process the order until we contact you, so please be sure to provide your correct phone number and email address.

Credit Cards & PayPal - Online
Using a credit card or PayPal account is the fastest and most convenient method of purchasing products from Server Racks Online. We accept Visa, MasterCard, American Express, and Discover.
Credit Cards - Over The Phone

Purchase Orders
We also accept Purchase Orders for all equipment. The initial PO must be for at least $5000, unless the order is for an educational institution or a government agency, before terms can be established. Fax us your Purchase Order at 303-604-1304, along with the credit application, and we will process your order (with approved credit). Please note that it may take up to 72 hours to process a credit application. Shipping charges must be defined on the purchase order for it to be processed. Please specify "Prepay and Add" and we will add the appropriate charge to your purchase order. For items that can ship via common carrier (UPS, FedEx, DHL), you can supply your account number and we will charge shipping to your account.
Return and Cancellation Policy
At Server Racks Online we want to ensure that you are happy with your order. If at any time you have questions regarding your server rack configuration, please call us at 1-720-284-6206.
Please Note: As custom-built cabinets and shelves can not be resold, we can not accept returns or cancellations on these items unless there are extenuating circumstances. If you have any questions, please contact us.
Returns
As noted above, some products can not be returned. If, however, the product qualifies to be returned, please contact us and be aware that certain restocking fees may apply.
• All item returns require a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number. - Request an RMA number here.
• RMA numbers are valid for 14 days from the issue date.
• RMA requests are accepted up to 30 days from the item's shipping date - items past 30 days are not eligible to be returned for a refund or exchange and are subject to the manufacturer's warranty. To qualify for a refund, items must be returned with all original packaging and accessories, including the retail box, manuals, cables, and any other accessories included with the item
All returns are subject to a restocking fee of 25% - 30% depending on the manufacturer, at Server Racks Online's sole discretion. For standard products that are returned and exchanged for a different product:If the exchange order is of equal or greater value to the original order, then the restocking fee is waived.
If the exchange order is for less than the original order, the restocking fee is 10%.
• Shipping charges are non-refundable and return shipping charges will not be covered by Server Racks Online.
• Customer's are responsible for safely packaging and shipping back any unit in need of repair and all shipping charges associated.
• Please inspect the equipment upon receipt to make sure it has not been damaged in transit.If the equipment has been damaged, please email CustomerService@Server-Rack-Online.com within 3 business days to initiate the replacement process.
• Server Racks Online will not accept return requests or provide refunds under the following circumstances: Merchandise that has been damaged or altered by the customer.
• Items that have been shipped internationally.
• Shipping delays that are out of our control
• Items that do not reference a valid RMA number (request an RMA number) will not be accepted.
• Items that were shipped out for return over 30 days FROM RMA request.
• Damaged items may not be returned for a refund - If the product received by the customer is defective, the customer will be sent a replacement unit upon return receipt of the defective unit by the manufacturer.
• Upon approval of the RMA request, credit or refunds will only be provided after the product has been received and inspected by Server Racks Online and been found to meet the criteria of the return.
• Please note: Returns and exchanges can take between 7-14 business days or longer, depending on the products and manufacturers involved. Please find the RMA (Return Merchandise Authorization) form here.
Cancellations
Custom orders cannot be canceled unless there are extenuating circumstances. Orders for standard products can be canceled, but the cancellation must occur before the product is delivered. Shipping charges will not be refunded for cancellations that occur after the order has shipped, and a refund will only be issued after the order has been received back at the warehouse.
International Orders
Server Racks Online is temporarily unable to accept International Orders online. Please send a detailed email to info@server-rack-online.com to place your order.
Please note: Currently we do not consult on data center design, racks, power or cooling internationally. However if there is a contact person here in the US that we can work with directly regarding your project, please let me know. We would only be able to consult, sell and ship within the US at this time.
International order guidelines:
• Minimum order amount – There is a $1,000 minimum order requirement for all international orders.
• Administration fee – There is a $100 international order processing fee applied to each international order.
• Payment method – PayPal, Wire Transfer, International Money Order, or Credit Card (only if billing address is within the United States)
• Shipping costs - Shipping charges on Server Racks Online are estimated to the best of our ability. However, on occasion, discrepancies may occur especially for International Shipping. Should the original shipping estimate noted on the ordering page be less than the actual shipping cost, the charges will need to be adjusted accordingly. Confirmation on this increase will be requested from the customer, until that confirmation is obtained the order will be placed on hold. Please note that there may be two portions of shipping in the event that the warehouse is unable to ship internationally. Should this be the case, the order will be shipped to our headquarters location and then out to the delivery address.
• Ship Via - The use of a 3rd party shipping account is required for all international orders.
• Tax, tariffs, duties and customs - The customer is responsible for all costs relating to the tax, tariffs and duties due on the order, as well as management and resolution of any issues regarding customs.
• Returns – Server Racks Online is unable to accept any returns for international orders.
• Technical Assistance – For technical issues associated with an online order the manufacturer will need to be contacted directly by the customer.
