The Great Lakes Adjustable Air Manager mounts to the bottom of an ES Series enclosure, "managing" the flow of conditioned air into the enclosure. An adjustable slide allows the amount of air to be adjusted as necessary, while maintaining raised floor pressure throughout the data center. This process can also be further enhanced through the use of a fan tray. The Air Manager uses only the bottom 1 RMU of rack space.
The Air Manager uses the Great Lakes concept of "Accelerated Ambient Cooling" to improve the efficiency of the conditioned air available to cool equipment mounted within the enclosure, while nearly eliminating bypass air flow outside the enclosure.
